Dr. Miranda
He was born in Queens New York and grew up right outside of New York City. He attended the State University of New York College at Oswego and later went on to Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington D.C.
After graduating, he became a U.S. Army Dental Officer at Fort Bragg North Carolina. He was deployed to Bosnia and provided dental care to the NATO peacekeeping troops.
After serving his country he moved to Bel Air, Maryland where he and his wife Carol are raising five children.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and was the President of the Harford Cecil County Dental Association in 2010.
In July 2017, Dr. Miranda received the Academy of General Dentistry's award of Fellowship. The AGD offers this award to members who truly go above and beyond in their learning and professional excellence. He was one of 4 Maryland dentists to be recognized as new fellows of the Academy in 2017.

I love being a member of Dr. Miranda's team for over 10 years. My favorite aspect of this career is the close relationships that I have developed with both my patients and colleagues. It has always been my goal to provide personalized, excellent care and oral hygiene instruction to every patient. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. We especially love vacationing in Bethany Beach and Disney World.
Melissa
My name is Melissa, and I am a dental hygienist from Pennsylvania. I graduated from Harcum College. My favorite part about my job is creating great relationships with my patients and educating them on their oral health needs. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 children. We enjoy going to the beach, getting together with friends, and hiking with our dog, Roxy.
Kelly
I graduated from The Ohio State University, and I have treated dental hygiene patients in five states for over fifteen years. I have a passion for helping those with dental phobias through their visit and treating periodontal disease. As a child, I frequented the dentist for filling appointments and was encouraged to pursue dental hygiene as a profession by a dental hygienist. You can trust I have a gentle touch, I'm a great listener, and I focus on my patients' overall health. When not in the office, I provide 'Lunch and Learn' programs to dental offices in the area as a Professional Educator on behalf of Waterpik. I am the President of the Ohio State University Dental Alumni Association and I maintain membership in the ADHA, OSAP, AAOSH, AADH, DEW, and NNHH organizations. I obtained a master's in Science in Organizational Leadership in 2022. I live in Havre De Grace with my spouse, son, and chihuahua. I spend my free time at my son’s soccer games, cheering on the Buckeyes, reading, traveling, and volunteering for local organizations such as the Soroptimists International of Havre De Grace, APG Spouses Club, and the American Legion.
Carol
I am Dr. Miranda's Office Manager. My goal is to make sure that every patient receives personal service and has a positive experience. I am glad to answer any questions about insurance and coverage. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my 5 children at home and on the beach.

My goal is to warmly welcome every patient into our office and hope to make you feel at home. I am your go-to person to verify and maximize your insurance benefits. I am happy to answer any questions and help resolve any concerns you may have. I truly love and take pride in my job here at Miranda Family Dentistry. While I am not at the office, I enjoy taking trips down to the beach and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
Kresta
I am Dr. Miranda's lead dental assistant. I enjoy working with our patients and helping them relax during their dental procedures. I love learning about dentistry from Dr. Miranda and hope to one day become a dental hygienist. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, my family, and my pets.
Brooke
I am the newest member of the Miranda team. I enjoy assisting Dr. Miranda and our dental hygienists in an array of procedures. I love meeting my new patients and getting to know them. I am currently in college and hope to one day become a dental hygienist. I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and love going to the beach whenever possible.
Holly
I earned a bachelor's degree of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. I have 11 years of experience and can perform a range of services which include preventative and non-surgical periodontal procedures. I enjoy implementing new techniques and delivering quality care to my patients. I have traveled to Belize on a dental mission to provide care to underprivileged children, and I also volunteer to give complimentary care for veterans for a program once a year. When not working, I spend my days on our family farm with my husband, horses, dogs, and cats.

Danielle was a member of our team for over 10 years. She was like family to the Mirandas. She truly enjoyed her job and was a crucial part of our success in the community.
